Materials and craft

I cut each bar from solid hardwood, rout a fine channel, and inlay the metal by hand so it sits level with the wood. Sterling silver reads bright and cool against darker woods; brass brings a warmer, vintage line. Every bar is sanded smooth, finished with food-safe oil and beeswax, and made in my one-person studio in Hamilton, Ohio.
