Some nights you never want to lose. Give me a date, a time, and a place, and I engrave the exact night sky from that moment onto a solid wood pendant, then send you a preview before I make anything. It hangs on a sterling silver chain, so the sky you remember goes with you instead of sitting in a drawer.

How I personalize your star map

Materials and craft

The pendant is solid Maple or Olivewood, cut and engraved in my one-person studio in Hamilton, Ohio. Maple keeps the sky crisp and high-contrast; Olivewood brings a warm golden grain that makes every chart feel a little different. The chain is genuine sterling silver, adjustable from 18 to 20 inches. I finish each piece with food-safe oil and beeswax and check it by hand before it ships.

Care

Keep it dry when you can and wipe it with a soft cloth. If the wood ever looks thirsty, refresh it with a drop of food-safe mineral oil or my Wood Butter. With basic care it holds up for years.

  • Store in the pouch or box it came in to prevent scratches.

Each product is made from sustainably sourced hardwood. The specific wood type is listed in the variant options. We use woods like Walnut, Maple, Cherry, Chakte Kok, Olivewood, and Cedar, all chosen for grain character and responsible sourcing.

Keep it dry when possible and reapply a small amount of food-safe oil or our Wood Butter if the finish starts to look dry. Avoid prolonged soaking in water. With basic care, these pieces hold up for years.
