Each pair is laser cut from sustainably sourced hardwood, hand-sanded smooth, and finished with food-safe oil and wax. Hypoallergenic posts keep sensitive ears comfortable. Natural wood grain means no two pairs are exactly alike. Made in Hamilton, Ohio with trees planted through Eden Reforestation Projects for every order.
Materials & care
Materials we use
Sustainably sourced hardwoods, .925 sterling silver, and 18k gold-plated stainless steel. All metals are hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. Every piece is finished with a protective sealant for durability.
How to care for your piece
Remove before showering, swimming, or applying lotions and perfumes. Wipe wood surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Polish silver with a silver cloth if it develops patina. Store pieces individually to avoid scratching.
What to avoid
Prolonged water exposure, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and storing pieces loose together in a jewelry box.

Every custom order includes a free digital proof sent to you by email. You'll review the design and work directly with us to make sure every detail is right. You can request as many revisions as you need -- there's no limit and no extra charge.

Custom orders
Custom items are made to order and typically take 3-5 business days for production, plus 1-3 business days for shipping. If your order includes a design proof, you'll have a chance to review and approve it before production begins.
Holiday season
Orders placed between November and December may take slightly longer. Rush processing may be available for time-sensitive orders.

A cone-shaped drop earring with a two-tone wood construction. The outer wood frames an inner inlay in a contrasting species, creating clean lines and visible grain contrast in a compact shape.
Available in multiple wood combinations including Chakte Kok, Walnut, Maple, Olivewood, and Canarywood bases with Maple, Cherry, Cedar, Padauk, or Walnut inlays. Each pair is hand-finished and set on sterling silver hardware.

answeredAre these earrings comfortable for all-day wear?
Yes. The cone shape is designed to be lightweight, most pairs weigh under a gram. Wood is naturally lighter than metal, so these won't pull on your ears the way heavier styles do. Customers who normally skip earrings due to sensitivity often find wood a better fit.
What wood options are available, and does it matter which I choose?
Cone Earrings are available in several exotic and domestic hardwoods including Chakte Kok, Canarywood, Walnut, and Maple. Each wood has a distinct color and grain, Chakte Kok is a vivid orange-red, Canarywood is golden with streaks, Walnut is deep brown, and Maple is light and clean. The wood you choose is mostly a style preference; all options are finished with the same oil and wax blend and carry the same durability.
Can I wear these in the rain or shower?
The oil and wax finish makes them water-resistant, not waterproof. Brief exposure to light rain is fine. Remove them before swimming, showering, or extended water contact. If they do get wet, pat dry and let them air out before storing. A light re-oiling once or twice a year keeps the finish in good shape.
Can I wear these every day?
Absolutely. The wood is lightweight and the posts are hypoallergenic, so they work just as well on a Tuesday morning as they do on a Saturday night.
