A round wood medallion with an intricate peacock design engraved edge to edge, hung on a sterling silver chain. The pattern shows off the grain of each wood differently, so the same design looks new in every species.

Materials and craft

I laser-engrave the design into a solid hardwood medallion, then sand and finish each one by hand with food-safe oil and beeswax. Darker woods make the engraving read bold and graphic; lighter woods keep it soft and detailed. Every piece is made in my one-person studio in Hamilton, Ohio, and hangs on genuine sterling silver.

Care

Keep it dry when you can and wipe it with a soft cloth. If the wood looks dry over time, refresh it with a drop of food-safe mineral oil or my Wood Butter.

  2. We send a digital proof to your email within 1-2 business days.
  3. You approve it (or request changes), and we start production.
  4. Your finished piece ships within 5-7 business days of proof approval.

What to avoid

  • Very long messages on small pieces (they get hard to read)
  • Tiny decorative fonts at small sizes
  • Copyrighted logos or artwork we don't have rights to use

Care

  • Keep dry. Remove before showering, swimming, or washing hands.
  • Avoid lotions, perfumes, and cleaning products. They can dull the finish over time.
  • Wipe clean with a soft dry cloth. No polish, no water.
  • Store in the pouch or box it came in to prevent scratches.

We send a digital proof to your email within 1-2 business days of your order. Nothing gets cut or engraved until you approve it. If you want to tweak the text, font, or layout, just reply to the proof email.
