Farmers Markets Near Hamilton and Cincinnati: A Local Guide

If you're looking for farmers markets near Hamilton and Cincinnati, you're in one of the best regions in Ohio for it. From spring through fall (and year-round in a few cases), there's a market running almost every day of the week within a reasonable drive. Fresh produce, baked goods, local honey, flowers, and handmade items from people who actually live here. Whether you're looking for a local farmers market to visit on a Saturday morning or trying to plan your whole summer around market days, this list has you covered.

I sell at local markets and events as part of running PRWMade, so I've been to a lot of these firsthand. Here's the list I keep for farmers markets near Hamilton and Cincinnati, updated for 2026.

Local Spotlight: The Farmer's Collective in Hamilton

Before I get into the full list, I want to highlight The Farmer's Collective at 302 Main St in Hamilton. It's a public market and cafe that features local Ohio farmers and makers. Open Wednesday through Saturday, though hours shift seasonally, so check their site before you head over. If you're already in downtown Hamilton, pair it with a walk down Main Street. Coffee, flowers, then the market.

    Hamilton Historic Farmers Market

Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, late May through early October. Right outside the historic courthouse at 101 High St. This is the market I'm closest to, and it's a great mix of produce vendors, honey, baked goods, and rotating makers. Free parking during the event, which is a nice bonus. The Hamilton Ohio farmers market is one of the smaller ones on this list, but that's part of what makes it worth going to. You're not fighting crowds.

    Findlay Market

Saturdays 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Sundays 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, year-round. Ohio's oldest continuously operated public market, located in Over-the-Rhine at 1801 Race St, Cincinnati. The outdoor farm stands run on the plaza, and the indoor merchants are open all week. If you haven't been to Findlay Market, it's worth the trip from Hamilton. Plan to spend a couple hours.

    Oxford Farmers Market Uptown

Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, year-round. Small town energy with local growers, bakers, coffee, and music. Located by Memorial Park in Uptown Oxford, near Main St and Church St. The Miami University crowd keeps it lively, and the market runs even through winter months.

    West Chester Farmers Market

Most Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, spring through fall. Winter dates vary. Located at MidPointe Library, 9363 Centre Pointe Dr, West Chester. A solid community market with produce, prepared foods, and local makers. Check the township calendar for current dates and winter market info.

More Markets in the Cincinnati Area

Beyond the ones I've highlighted above, the Greater Cincinnati area has a strong lineup of farmers markets Cincinnati residents can reach within 30-45 minutes. Here's the quick rundown:

Hyde Park Farmers Market runs Sundays 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, May through October. Madeira Farmers Market is Thursdays 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM (shorter hours November and December), May through December. Montgomery Farmers Market goes Saturdays 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, May through October. Northside Farmers Market runs Wednesdays 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM (shorter winter hours), year-round. Loveland Farmers Market is Tuesdays 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM, May through October.

Deerfield Farmers Market in Mason goes Saturdays 9:00 AM to noon, May through October, with a winter market on the third Saturday. Wyoming Farmers Market is Tuesdays 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, May through October. The OFF Market at Summit Park runs the second Saturday of the month, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, seasonally.

A Few Markets Worth the Drive

If you're willing to drive a bit further north, the Dayton area has some good options. 2nd Street Market in Dayton is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday year-round. Oakwood Farmers Market runs Saturdays 9:00 AM to noon, early June through mid-October. Beavercreek and Yellow Springs also run Saturday markets from spring through fall.

    Tips for Market Day

Bring cash. Not every vendor takes cards, especially at the smaller markets. Bring your own bags, both because it's less wasteful and because some vendors don't provide them. Go early for the best produce selection. Go later if you want to catch deals from vendors who don't want to pack everything back up.

Also, details change. Markets adjust dates, hours, and locations from year to year. Always check the market's website or social media before making the trip. Nothing worse than showing up to an empty parking lot.

Shop Local, Even When the Market's Closed

Markets are seasonal for most of the year, but shopping local doesn't have to be. Everything at PRWMade is made in small batches right here in Hamilton from domestically sourced hardwoods. If you're the kind of person who shops farmers markets, you're the kind of person who appreciates knowing where things come from and who made them.

The gifts under $30 collection is a good place to start for last-minute host gifts or market-day impulse buys. Wooden bookmarks are light enough to toss in your bag, and handmade wooden earrings pair well with the kind of outfit you'd wear to a Saturday morning market. Everything ships in plantable seed paper packaging.
